Celebrating the Sound of Tuam
Creative Places Tuam is looking for musicians, performers and music-makers connected to Tuam and its surrounding areas to be part of Sounding Tuam, a new home-grown music programme taking place 12–14 February 2027.
We want to hear from the people who are already making music in and around Tuam. Whether you’re a singer-songwriter, band, traditional musician, producer, DJ, composer, choir, musical theatre performer, emerging artist, established musician or something we haven’t thought of yet!
Anything and everything music-related – we want to hear it!
Sounding Tuam will bring together local musicians and audiences through a programme of:
- Live performances & gigs
- Sessions & open mics
- Artist development opportunities
- Music workshops
- Music-related screenings and events
- Conversations, connections & collaborations
Alongside local artists, we hope to bring in a guest artist or music professional who can inspire, connect and contribute to Tuam’s already incredible music community.
