Creative Places Tuam wins Intercultural EPIC award

We are thrilled to announce that our programme coordinator Craolann Courtney has been awarded an AMDAF Women Intercultural EPIC Award at the AMDAF Women Roudtable event held in Tuam on Saturday March the 9th 2024.

AMDAF is an African women’s group in Tuam & Galway County, established to promote and protect value, justice, and development of women of African descent and their families. The AMDAF Women Roundtable and Intercultural EPIC Award aims to foster connection and empowerment among women from varying backgrounds. This event was funded by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth.

Carolann says “I am honoured to have been considered alongside my fellow awardees, businesswomen, activists, journalists and more. My thanks go to AMDAF and to the people of Tuam who have supported the work of Creative Places Tuam over the past four years. I look forward to the next phase of the programme”.
