The West’s Awake! Full Programme now live
Event

The West’s Awake Community Weekend,
running the 19th and 20th August in Tuam town, features home grown musicians, artists, crafters, performers, poets, filmmakers, singers, writers, storytellers, positive disrupters and more.
Taking place over two days, across nine venues, in the streets and public spaces. From emerging talents to award winning voices, the weekend is a celebration of creative Tuam, by Tuam, for the West to enjoy.
With over 25 events including a live music stage, children’s activities, film screenings, a craft market, exhibitions, poetry readings, tea ceremony, audio walking tours, street performance, Tuam Herald poster type print workshops, music sessions, dancing and much, much more.
Tell your neighbours, invite your friends and bring your Granny. Book a workshop for the kids, support your favourite bands and discover something new. And it’s all family friendly and free.
Initiated in response to The Saw Doctors homecoming gigs, organised and produced by a local team, with contributions from Tuam’s vibrant communities. Tuam’s awake, are you ready to support it?
