As part of our commitment to offering enriching training and development opportunities to the people of Tuam and the surrounding area, we are delighted to offer a series of informal yet informative sessions by Irish resource agencies and funding bodies. This series will offer practical guidance on what resource agencies are out there, what support they can offer, and information on funding opportunities. It’s also an opportunity for Tuam-based artists to meet, learn, and connect with other artists and the Creative Places Tuam team.

Our first session will be led by Sharon O’Grady, Galway County Council Arts Officer, who will discuss upcoming funding opportunities offered by the Council Arts Service. She will touch on the Cultural Community Support Scheme and Creative Ireland Funding at the session.

This is a good opportunity to meet Sharon and connect with local arts & cultural practitioners, groups and organisations. This session is open to artists of all stages in their career and all artforms. It is also open to community groups and organisations that wish to work creatively this year. It is open for those who have made applications to the fund before and for first time applicants. There will be time for discussion and Q& A after Sharon’s presentation.
